Let’s start with a classic Shakespeare comedy, <a title="About the play" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelfth_Night" target="_blank">Twelfth Night</a>, playing at Northern Arizona University’s Studio Theatre.  The Studio Theatre is located on the north end of the NAU Performing Arts Building (often thought of as Ardrey Auditorium, but that’s just the south part). Go to the south end of the same building, to Ardrey Auditorium for a FREE performance by the NAU Percussion Ensemble at 7 p.m.   The traveling <a title="About" href="http://www.lowell.edu/outreach/index.php" target="_blank">Mars in 3D exhibit is still at Lowell Observatory</a> – catch it this weekend during the day or evening.   The <a title="About" href="http://thetrain.com/polarexpress/" target="_blank">Grand Canyon Railway begins its Polar Express </a>service this weekend from the Williams, AZ depot. Special packages available throughout the holiday season, with departures at 6:30 and 8 p.m. on select evenings. Proceeds benefit <a title="About" href="http://www.gcyouth.org/" target="_blank">Grand Canyon Youth</a>, a non-profit organization based in Flagstaff which offers experiential education along the rivers and canyons of the southwest. Entry to the event is $10 and is open to public. River-themed films, food, silent auction, and raffle. Over 90 Flagstaff-area artists and businesses have donated to the silent auction.
