National conference addresses issues relevant to Flagstaff housing needs

Today in Chicago, Illinois, national, state and local housing leaders, local and county government representatives and business professionals are meeting for the first national conference on Employer-Assisted Housing. As Flagstaff and the nation seek solutions to housing issues, employer-assisted housing is one tool among many, to retain productive, stable workforces and to revitalize the housing market. The availability of employer-assisted-housing programs is one more reason for Flagstaff to recruit and retain high-quality employers. Some Flagstaff employers already provide housing assistance to recruit high-demand professionals.
