Rosalind Wiseman -- Anti-Bullying Expert -- visits Flagstaff at invitation of Martin-Springer Institute

Flagstaff residents will have a wonderful opportunity to hear from <a title="Her website" href="http://www.rosalindwiseman.com/index.php" target="_blank">Rosalind Wiseman</a>, the anti-bullying guru who inspired the hit film <a title="Mean Girls Movie" href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377092/" target="_blank">Mean Girls</a>, Friday night at <a title="Map" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Sinagua+High+School,+3950+E+Butler+Ave,+Flagstaff,+Coconino,+Arizona,+United+States&sll=35.196226,-111.648532&sspn=0.011608,0.018454&ie=UTF8&cd=1&geocode=0,35.194800,-111.600190&ll=35.19559,-111.600194&spn=0.011608,0.018454&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A" target="_blank">Sinagua High School Auditorium</a>. The <a title="About Martin-Springer Institute at NAU" href="http://www2.nau.edu/msin-p/" target="_blank">Martin-Springer Institute</a> has invited Ms.Wiseman to provide the keynote address for its day-long conference on bullying prevention. Ms. Wiseman is an internationally recognized author, lecturer, and educator on children, teens, parenting, education and social justice. Wiseman’s lecture at 7 p.m. if free and open to the public. Wiseman is the author of  several books, including Queen Bees and Wannabes:  Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and Other Realities of Adolescence. Her speech will address relational aggression and how parents can help.  The Anti-Bullying Conference will be held during the day at the W.A. Franke School of Business at Northern Arizona University. A fee of $25 and pre-registration is required to attend the conference.
