At the <a title="Arboretum of Flagstaff" href="http://www.thearb.org/" target="_blank">Arboretum of Flagstaff</a>, you can have your chance.  Friday, March 14, the volunteers of <a title="Flagstaff area's High Country Raptors" href="http://www.highcountryraptors.com/" target="_blank">High Country Raptors </a>will conduct a scheduled Winter Hawk Walk. Make reservations today, the walk starts at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.  If you miss this, keep it in mind as a very special Flagstaff outing and arrange a private walk for your favorite group.This weekend opens Spring Break at NAU and Flagstaff Unified School District and many people in Flagstaff will be trying to catch a last, beautiful week of skiing, either here at the <a title="Flagstaff's Arizona Snowbowl" href="http://www.arizonasnowbowl.com/" target="_blank">Arizona Snowbowl</a> (93 inch base this week), or by migrating further north to Telluride or other very drivable spots in neighboring Colorado.Others may be inclined to speed up the arrival of Spring temperatures by dropping down 1000 feet to <a title="Drive Flagstaff to Sedona" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Flagstaff+to+Sedona&sll=35.196226,-111.648532&sspn=0.011608,0.020149&ie=UTF8&z=11" target="_blank">Sedona, Arizona</a> – just 40 minutes south of Flagstaff. Besides the permanent red rock display, Sedona this weekend will host <a title="Arizona Women's Festival" href="http://www.womensfestivals.org/" target="_blank">Arizona Women’s Festival</a>, whose sponsors say it is created to “celebrate the accomplishments of women and inspire others to realize their dreams.” This inaugural Arizona event includes, this weekend, an inspirational keynote address, seminars, entertainment and displays. One of the top five finalists from <a title="Website of TV show" href="http://www.nbc.com/Americas_Got_Talent/" target="_blank">NBC’s America’s Got Talent</a> will be performing in Flagstaff Friday at Flagstaff High School’s Main Auditorium at 8:00 pm. The group is called <a title="Celtic Spring Blog" href="http://www.livingtraditionspresentations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Celtic Spring</a>, and is a music and dance group of six siblings and their parents. The performance they bring to audiences is filled with outstanding step dancing and equally outstanding fiddling. Prices range from $5 for children to $25 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at Cedar Music, Jitters Coffee, or by calling 928-600-1365.Sunday, March 16, from 5:30 to 9:30 at <a title="Lowell Observatory public outreach programs" href="http://www.lowell.edu/outreach/index.php" target="_blank">Lowell Observatory</a>, enjoy the night sky after dark and a featured speaker before. Scientist and writer Joan Horvath, will give a presentation about her new book, What Scientists Actually Do. This special event will also feature indoor programs and numerous telescopes set up for viewing throughout the Lowell campus. The planet Saturn will be a featured object to view.There are a couple of great on-going exhibits at the <a title="Museum of Northern Arizona" href="http://www.musnaz.org/index.html" target="_blank">Museum of Northern Arizona</a>, which you may not want to miss. The fabulous <a title="Therizinosaur exhibit at MNA info" href="http://www.musnaz.org/exhibits/therizinosaur.html" target="_blank">THERIZINOSAUR – Mystery of the Sickle-Claw Dino</a>saur ends on March 29.
