Flagstaff Winterfest, NAU Drama and Music, Outdoor and Indoor Activities Abound

Flagstaff Winterfest is in full fury this weekend. The collection of events, sponsored by the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, demonstrates that Flagstaff is a great place to live year round. At <a title="Arizona Snowbowl - Downhill Ski and Snowboard near Flagstaff" href="http://www.arizonasnowbowl.com/" target="_blank">Arizona Snowbowl</a> this Saturday, there will be competition for advanced skiers and snowboarders. $25 to enter – T-shirts and medals available.  Snow continues to cover our environs, so enjoy the <a href="public/public/blog/193309">snow play areas around Flagstaff</a> even if you are not a downhill skier or snowboarder.If you missed the 2007 NAU Theatre performance of <a title="NAU Theatre" href="http://www4.nau.edu/insidenau/bumps/2007/11_7_07/theater.htm" target="_blank">Martin McDonagh's dark comedy The Cripple of Inishmaan</a>, you’ll have a chance to see the final rehearsals for free as the troupe heads off to perform among a select group at the Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival in Los Angeles. Catch the final, dress rehearsals Friday and Saturday nights. Curtain at 8:00 p.m. both nights, at Clifford White Theatre on the NAU campus.
