It’s time, again, to stock up on a Flagstaff original – Archuleta tamales and enchiladas. You must order by February 1 to stock your freezer for the year.  Pickup is February 9 between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Killip Elementary School. Just to let you know, this is also the Coconino County Democratic Party’s 1st quarterly meeting of the year, but that will be a sideshow compared to the Archuleta food offerings.  There will be a brief party meeting and then petition signing and meeting of the candidates.    For the past several years, the Coconino County Democratic Party has held a sale of hand-made Archuleta tamales and enchiladas at Killip School in central Flagstaff. This  attracts a huge crowd who want to meet candidates and sign their petitions to be on the year’s election ballot, but most importantly, want the GREAT FOOD.The Flagstaff public is invited to attend to buy and eat tamales, meet and greet the Democratic candidates, and sign petitions to get candidates on the ballot for the various local and federal offices.
