Flagstaff Westsiders Should Brace Themselves and Plan Ahead

<p><font face="verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2">Northern Arizona University's Homecoming events bring lots of people and lots of fun to Flagstaff, but it also exacerbates our weekend traffic. So be prepared and plan ahead. </font></p><p>The <a href="http://www4.nau.edu/insidenau/bumps/2007/10_24_07/parade.htm">NAU homecoming parade</a> will be downtown Saturday morning -- closing some of the historic downtown streets for a few hours as on-lookers line up for a Hollywood-themed celebration of our local university and its alums. </p><p>The <a href="http://nau.newtier.com/index.php?module=pnNews&tid=18&sid=1841">football game</a> begins at 3:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the skydome on South Campus. Watch for traffic on Milton Road as fans gather for the game and then exit for evening celebrations a few hours later.
