Saturday morning, there will be a tour and farm products sale at Mountain Meadow Farm in the “banana-belt” of Flagstaff.  See and hear how <a title="Mountain Meadow Farm website" href="http://mountainmeadowfarm.org/" target="_blank">Mountain Meadow Farm</a> in central Flagstaff uses its unique piece of Flagstaff real estate with the permaculture design system to grow farm products using sustainable methods. According to Flagstaff Farmer Chuck McDougal, wherever you live, permaculture can assist you in creating a more sustainable future with your gardening, landscaping, farming, ranching or construction.This tour, from 10-11 a.m.,  includes a short bee-keeping introduction by local bee-keeper and educator, Patrick Pynes.Farm products will be on sale from 9 a.m . – Noon. Sales at the Farm feature farm-grown native plants and herb starts, plus newly harvested shallots, sunchokes , and other crops that are ready for sale. Composting red worms are also available for sale.
