Cozy Flagstaff home pending closing! I try to blog about my new Flagstaff home listings shortly after I get them posted to the numerous websites on which I advertise, but this recently listed Flagstaff home went under contract so quickly that I haven't had time to blog about it. (When, by the way, did blog become a verb? It's barely become a word!) The first day this Flagstaff home was on the market, there was showing within two hours of it's activation on Flagstaff's multiple-listing-service. Less than two weeks later, we had an offer. A few days of tweeking the sale contract, and we're in escrow!
I can't take full credit for this success -- the owners worked hard to make this home beautiful, and they priced it just right. Those things -- and getting the right advice from a Realtor® about how to do them -- are the keys to success in this market. It also helps, of course, to have a home for sale in the lower price ranges where the first-time-home buyer tax credit has given people an $8000 incentive to buy before December 1 (that means close before December 1, so the time to get-going in your Flagstaff house hunt is nearly past).
Meanwhile, I have four other transactions in escrow and waiting to close -- so don't think Flagstaff homes are not selling. They are!
