Star Power Real Estate Conference

Your blogger is attending one of the best real estate education events of the year
The Howard Brinton Training System

You may not have noticed, but I haven’t been in Flagstaff since last Thursday, when I left on a plane from Flagstaff’s Pulliam Airport at 7 a.m. Not on the new Horizon Service, but the old Mesa airlines connection to Phoenix – and it was all on time! The purpose of my trip is to attend the Annual Star Power Conference, a gathering of the top real estate agents from around the country.

This is a pretty intense conference, and a great learning opportunity. But, it leaves me little time for blogging. I was able to post for the last couple of days – about foreclosures, short sales, and a mortgage market update. I had time to work on the short sale and foreclosure posts on the plane last Thursday, and just spiffed them up on the morning of the post date. For the foreclosure post, I even e-mailed a bit with the Wall Street Journal reporter whose article is cited in the post! That’s how I know that she based much of her slant to the article on her own, unfortunate, personal experience.

So, before this intense learning opportunity started today, what was I doing in beautiful Orlando, FL? Vacationing with the grandchildren, of course! Oh, and we let their parents come, too. Actually, it’s always enjoyable to see our daughter and son-in-law, and to turn the children back to them at the end of long days in the Magic Kingdom or Typhoon Lagoon!

Meanwhile, back in Flagstaff, the best real estate team in town has been selling Flagstaff real estate! I know because I’ve been following the emails and faxes about offers, property showings, and feedback on our listings. It’s been a great week for selling Flagstaff homes! If you’d like to buy or sell Flagstaff real estate, contact Team Heitland at RE/MAX Peak Properties.
