Memorial Day

Reprint of a blog post from last Memorial Day

Last year the weather in Flagstaff Arizona was much different from this year's nearly winter-like weekend. On a hot summer weekend in 2007, I wrote this post: Recollections of the Meaning of Memorial Day from Flagstaff AZ.

The picture accompanying this post is my front yard on Friday, May 23. Yes, that's snow.
