The residents of several northwest Flagstaff neighborhoods, commonly known as Coconino Estates, will present the Flagstaff community with a lovely luminaries display beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 16. There are two ways to see the annual display – on foot or by driving by. Both are free (except for your gasoline expense if you drive). Local streets will be closed in the Coconino Estates neighborhood. Guests enter at the Bonito and Thorpe intersection and proceed north on Navajo Road from the Marshall Magnet School area. Traffic is one-way. If you wish to walk it, the light hike is about 3 miles and you should bring a flashlight. Bundle-up even if you drive, because you’ll want to roll down your windows to hear the carolers.
