| September 25, 2009 | | Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather, learn about invasive plants, while helping a Flagstaff community |  Not an invasive species! Coconino County Parks and Recreation, Friends of Coconino County Parks and Friends of Flagstaff Future join together to clean-up the Pumphouse Greenway in Kachina Village on Saturday. It will be a beautiful day enjoy the outdoors around Flagstaff. Snacks, lunch and prizes will be offered to volunteers. Bring heavy work gloves and water.
You’ll learn to recognize invasive species – something that could be useful around your own Flagstaff home. And, you’ll help to keep one of the rarest wildlife habitat resources in Arizona litter-free.
