| April 14, 2009 | | Playwright in residence, Tina Howe, provides a special FREE workshop on Wednesday for would-be playwrights | Free at NAU's Studio Theatre on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Hear a special presentation "So .... you want to write plays," by Playwrite-in-Residence Tina Howe. There will be other special events Thursday and Friday, leading up to opening night of the April 17-25 run of The Bald Soprano and The Lesson at Clifford White Theatre.
Eugene Ionesco’s classic dramas The Bald Soprano and The Lesson will be performed under the direction of NAU's Theatre Chair Kathleeen McGeever in their boldly new translation by playwright Tina Howe. Tina Howe will speak following the opening performances of the plays on Friday night.
