| November 26, 2008 | | Parade, Sponsored by the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce, Happens Saturday, December 13. This Saturday, visit the lights at Little America Hotel. | Ok, I can tell that many of you are anxious to know: when is the holiday lights parade in Flagtaff this year? I've received one phone call and it was the most popular word combination search that brought you to this blog yesterday. So, here's the scoop: It'll be the 10th Annual Holiday Lights Parade and will step off at 6 p.m. in historic downtown Flagstaff. Definitely bring your jackets for this one! More than 60 entries were viewed last year, creating an amazing show of color and lights. Contact the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce to learn more and for entry applications (entries may be closed, or they may be open, it's unclear from the Chamber website.) So, if you were looking for a Thanksgiving Day parade in Flagstaff, sorry, you have to wait for December 13. You can enjoy the Holiday Lights Festival at Little America Hotel's grounds on Saturday, beginning at 3 p.m. The junior master of ceremonies will flip the switch at 6:30 p.m. for over one million lights. Complimentary cookies and hot cider, visit with Santa, and enjoy choral music throughout the afternoon and evening. | |
