What’s Happening in Flagstaff Real Estate?

June Flagstaff Market Report Is Delayed by Real Estate Sales Activities!

The June Flagstaff market update would normally appear here today. I’ve downloaded and preserved all the statistics on June Flagstaff real estate sales – overall statistics as well as for homes, townhomes, condos, and manufactured homes. But, I’ve also listed three new properties this week, closed another sale and am dealing with three home inspections on properties in escrow! And, ok, it’s the 4th of July this weekend and I’ve been getting ready for that too – here’s the scoop on the Flagstaff Independence Day parade! So the blog had to move down the list of priorities.

I can tell you that the pace of Flagstaff real estate sales in June exceeded that of May – but not by much. On a bleaker note, over 150 properties fell off the market in the Northern Arizona MLS on July 1 because their listing contracts expired as of midnight June 30. Now, many of those were not in the Flagstaff metro area, but it’s still a significant number indicating the fact that would-be sellers have not realized what they need to do in this market to get their properties sold.

So, watch for a June Flagstaff market report over the weekend or Monday, but don’t expect big changes from the May Flagstaff real estate analysis

Also keep an eye out for the new featured listings that will pop-up on our Flagstaff real estate website over the next week. One of them is a unique opportunity for professional innkeepers to buy Flagstaff's premier bed and breakfast property -- The Inn at 410. Here's a link to the MLS listing which just went "active" today: Inn at 410 is for sale!

RE/MAX Peak Properties will be closed Friday in honor of the 4th of July Independence Day holiday. The office will be open again Saturday and Sunday.
