Flagstaff is filled with Democrats. And they haven’t calmed down since Coconino County was responsible for tipping Governor Janet Napolitano into office in the squeaker 2002 election (she won re-election by a landslide in 2006). The Coconino County Party maintains an office in downtown Flagstaff at 4 South San Francisco Street and a website. The Coconino County Democratic Party is the official arm of the National Democratic Party for Coconino County and is gearing up for the Presidential Preference Primary in Arizona on February 5, 2008, as well as for the General Election on November 4, 2008. To inform Coconino County Democrats about the presidential candidates and to just raise a ruckus and have fun, the Party is throwing a mock convention on November 4, 2007. Here is the announcement: MOCK DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATING CONVENTION LITTLE AMERICA in the Ballroom area NOVEMBER 4 from 2-4:30 P.M.
